First off, I’d like to apologize for my lack of blogging, I promise not to make it a regular occurrence. That is until I return from a 10 day soul search… and by soul search I mean a ManCation, which is a lot like a vacation but involves myself and another dude “roughing it.” We depart early tomorrow AM and will be in the wild, living off the land, by first thing Friday morning.
Our destination is Kauai, HI and the trip’s objective is to take a break from the real world, disconnect from modern media (pun intended for those I work with) and get wild with our primitive selves. In the end, the trip’s success will be measured by the number of books I read, as well as the amount of money I spend during the 10-day adventure. Our budget is $100 each and given the amount of rice, beans and Power Bars I’ve already packed, I’m confident we can stick to it, but I’ll have my debit just in case.
After tonight, there won’t be any entries until my return on Sunday, December 2nd, but you better believe I’ll fill y’all in upon my return. Come tomorrow I’ll be here:
